About this hinge
The hinge carries the full weight of the door every time it is opened. Worn hinges let the door drop, which stops the seal from closing properly.
When to replace it
- The door drops or sits crooked when open
- The door no longer closes flush or springs back
- A grinding noise, or a hinge that has visibly bent or snapped

Fitting and checking
Hinges are usually sold singly, so order two if both sides are worn. Support the door while changing the hinge; oven doors in particular are heavy. Check the part number printed on the part you are replacing against the numbers listed here; where it differs, compare your model number instead. A parts diagram showing the item position is included with the product images.
